 Josh graduated from Liberty University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He has experience working with adults and adolescents confronted with anxiety, depression, abuse, and post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as children coping with familial trauma and high conflict co-parenting. Josh approaches counseling through several therapeutic modalities including Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) in addition to being a trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist.

Josh strives to provide a safe environment that centers around compassion, healing, and unconditional positive regard. He works to empower clients to overcome past conflicts and prepare them for life after trauma, with a focus on maximizing their potential. Josh is currently under the supervision of Carolyn Metheny, LPC, CPCS.
